Come to the annual meeting and potluck. Renew your membership, meet friends, and swap stories and ski gear. Bring a dish to share and your own plate and utensils. Meet some of the groomers that make our trails great!
Hey skiers, we are watching the peaks for inspiration dust! Summer lovers call it termination dust but we know better. We are already accepting memberships for the 2019-2020 ski season! Good news, the endowment that we created last season is already off to a great start. We have already raised $20,000 toward our $100,000 goal. Learn more about it and/or donate here. We now have a direct link to the Juneau Community Foundation JNSC Endowment page where you have the option of donating monthly or one-time via credit card or PayPal.
Mark your calendars, December 5th will be the annual potluck and gear swap at Dzantik’l Heeni Middle School 6-8 PM.
Watch for news about trail volunteer opportunities.

It’s a taxing day but there’s luv too. Last day of grooming TODAY. Alas it’s getting difficult for the grooming equipment–spring is here as is gravel and ice. There’s still decent skate skiing but you should hoof it up past the first curve beyond the bridge to avoid the main bare area–I’d still recommend using your rock skis today. Once you’ve navigated a little ice (I’ll do my best to score the surface) on the lower trail, it gets fairly good with decent snow coverage for the upper 1 12 km. Have a luvly last day of groomed trail skiing at Montana Creek!
I’ll groom starting about 8:00 and should be ready to ski about 8:30-9:00.
You sexy groomers 😍 2k skates fast at 10:30 Saturday, classic looks good too😚. Let’s make a date for Sunday😉
Groomed early today , Upper half excellent for skate skiing.
Lower section from bridge to Slide zone icy .
Will be groomed again on Sunday Morning.
Grouse are hooting.
