Speed bumps, pavement patches, it’s all over but the crying. Where there is snow it is wet and fast. We made 2 laps at 11 am, but the base is going quickly,
EB was groomed Saturday morning 4/1 for skate and classic. Snow is wet and soft but there is still enough coverage throughout for a good ski. There are, however some wet, slushy spots, and tree debris is starting to get thick in some places. Waxless skis are recommended.
Only one machine and it is at the Camp Ground. Classic was good yesterday. There is a wet place on the trail but you can get around it. Still a lot of snow on the trail
Being groomed this morning. Water on the lake, it may be over for the season.
A quick update on the lower loop. The wet weather we have gotten over the past couple of days has been starting to show on the lower loop, today it was reported by the groomers that there are starting to become some water hazards on the loop so they have modified the grooming pattern. As the wet weather continues we will continue to get out there and groom but we may have to modify the normal trail routes to avoid water.
The Lower Loop was in great shape Th afternoon. The snow was fast for being warm.
Groomed trail early this afternoon. Skate trail looks great but is soft. Classic trail track compressed well and is very acceptable if not downright enjoyable spring skiing.
