Rolled and set for skate and classic
Classic waxless skis on the lower loop last night with snow falling and enough to improve grip a bit. Should be good today, especially if they can set the classic trail. Another skier with a big golden retriever tearing up the trail apparently not able to read the big sign he passed from the lower parking lot that says no dogs allowed, so I gave him the verbal rendition of the rule to help him out as his dog jumped up to greet me. The dog owner was super appreciative…..
Will reset classic if possible, on my way now.
Just got down from the Mountain and the skating conditions were FAST on both the lower and upper loops. Unfortunately, a washed out track on the lower loop, and a non-existent track on the upper, made for poor classic conditions. Off piste was excellent for both. Let’s hope with the coming warm weather we can get consistent grooming on the upper loop!
