I skied EB campground yesterday and today. It really deteriorated overnight, long stretches of ice and slush, lots of debris on the ice from the wind makes it difficult to poll through. We are done grooming there until the next snow.
Groomed up well with track best after bridge and first curve upstream.
I was at trailhead at 8AM but gusting wind, ice and heavy rain changed my mind for the moment. Will return late morning or early afternoon to groom. Skied yesterday afternoon and enough snow to ski beyond the bridge and first turn upstream. Be sure you bring creepers to get to start of skiing.
Groomed this morning 10 am
Conditions are soft with good glide.
Ice from gate to first hill. Classic track in fair condition.
I skated four laps this morning and conditions are still good out there. More ice under trees on back stretch but 90% still really nice for skating but it needs a touch up since there’s been heavy use out there since the last grooming Fri. night. Less rain that far out. WIll be grooming and touching it up about noon.
Classic reset went well this morning. I set a wide skate lane. The snow is wet and soft. Fortune will favor the early skier. -Grooming completed by 7 am.
Set for skate & classic
Icy at hilltop
Good after bridge
