Skate ski the upper loop hills!

Tired of skiing the flats? The upper loop will give you the hill workout you crave. Walk (or ski) up from the parking lot to the base of Ptarmigan chair, then hike up the side of the Sneaky run – an easy 15-25 min ski/hike to just below the Black Bear chair. It was really beautiful up there today and I enjoyed classic skiing the loop despite no set classic track. Skate skiing looked nice. Skiers reported a fast firm track early in the day and softer in the afternoon.
