Ice and snow at top of road is disappearing half the way down to beginning of skiable snow, just above the bridge. Only two very small icy section and rest is certainly still skate and classic -able. Again the longer the day goes along the softer the snow will be so if you are thinking about it, go earlier than later.
Not as anxious to rush out there in this weather, but I will get it reset this morning and post afterwards.
Spring corn snow groomed up just fine for both disciplines….skate track is firm early and classic redone for entire length of track. Skiing starts just above the Fish Creek bridge. So walk down to there, very little ice to navigate. Have a great time this last week as stream is open and running with snow cover everywhere.
Will try to reset both classic and skate tracks this morning and post afterwards.
Conditions are great for skate. Classic not set and is in fair condition. You can start skiing part way down the first hill.
I’ll groom Montana Creek at 8 this morning. Looks like it frosted last night so conditions could be quite good this morningl Get out there before it warms up too much.
Groomed for skate. Good spring conditions. Classic track looks good too.
Cleats would be a good idea for walking from top of the icy hill to where you start skiing near the snowmobile.
